Translation requests allowed?

Hello together,
I am new to this community and not sure about its purpose.
I am maintainer of an open source project looking for translators of several languages. Is it allowed to request for translations here in this forum?

EDIT: No one gets payed. No company behind hit. Even the maintainers and developers are volunteers.

You mean wanting to hire someone for performing manual (human) translations?

I think that would be fine. Make sure to specify whether this is a paid opportunity or not and a link to the project.
