Translating files in LibreTranslate

  1. Navigate to LibreTranslate instance in web browser, for example libretranslate.com
  2. Click on the “Translate Files” tab at the top of the page
  3. Click the “File” button to upload your file
  4. Click “Translate” to translate your document
    Click “Download” to download your translated document

I installed Libretranslate on my Synology serveur using docker and portainer : this works well for text translation but not for files (Epub). Is this a known issue?

what problem do you have with the translation of an .epub? @jra47

When I ask for an epub translation, there is no translation, the file come back immediately untranslated, and looking in the log, I see WARNING:waitress.queue:Task queue depth is 2

I think I found the fix for EPUBs not being translated:

The filenames within the EPUB files are slightly different from what we were expecting.
