Self-hosting with Discourse on the same server?

Hi, we are a new community project social music lovers and we are planning to run Discourse Translator with self-hosted LibreTranslate. Just one question so far, that might seem obvious to you but keeps me thinking before we start: is it preferrable that LibreTranslate is installed in the same virtual server than Discourse, or would you recommend separate virtual servers for [reasons]?

Thank you very much for steering this project and giving a chance to multilingual communities with zero/little budget!

The plan, in case you are interested: the.socialmusic.network/t/a-multilingual-community/26/3 (no permissions to link yet)

I think it really depends on how much traffic/requests you expect the server to handle.

If you have a small volume of translations, you’re probably fine installing it on the same machine.

Thank you! We have just created the forum and we are building the content and community almost from scratch. Therefore, based on your feedback we can start in the same server. If the project goes so well that this isn’t enough, then we will be happy to migrate to an own virtual server.
