Eole currently doesn’t have conversion to CTranslate2 so I’d suggest holding off until that’s incorporated or streamlined. Don’t get stuck like me lol. I started training some big multilingual models and now need to wait to incorporate it into my inference structure which is entirly based in CTranslate2.
Yes it’s not like the software will stop working, it’s just that no new features are planned for the future, so long term a switch might be warranted, but for now OpenNMT-py continues to work well.
