Offline language independent NMT system for Windows 10/11

So similar to argos translate but not open source?

Not sure if it’s open source but it looks like you can email the guy and get the code. It’s from someone who’s been involved with the OpenNMT project for a while. It looks like you load the OpenNMT CTranslate2 model and SentencePiece tokenizer model directly into the software. He said he’s using some of my models too which you can access in this form by unzipping a .argosmodel file.

Ah, interesting! I wonder why he did not publish it directly on GitHub or somewhere else.

He sells it for 55 euro. That is probably why the code is not freely available.

Anyone has an idea what the differences are between the two? I just stumbled upon this project (and through this form on the NMT system from MyDutchPal).

It uses the same backend as Argos Translate (OpenNMT) but Argos Translate has its own GUI and package management system.
