It looks like the lead dev of CTranslate, Guillaume Klein, is stepping away from the project to take a job at Apple. I think the OpenNMT community is probably big enough that CTranslate2 will continue to be maintained.

Congrats to him! Although despite the reassurances, I’m a bit worried about ctranslate2. I would expect no new features for a while. We’ll see I guess!

That might be true. Fortunately the existing features do most of what we need.
