I’m toying around with the idea of creating a translation bot for the platform.

Currently not.

Isn’t Bluesky part of the fediverse? I think they’re supposed to interoperate somehow

I don’t think they can yet. Different protocols afaik

No, bluesky was created to be entirely inoperable with the fediverse. There are some bots that mirror things back and forth just like there used to be with twitter.
