Argos Translate bad translation of capital letters.
I translate the phrase ‘hello world’ from English to German

  1. ‘hello world’ → ‘Hallo!’
  2. ‘Hello world’ → ‘Hallo Welt’
  3. ‘Hello World’ → ‘Hallo Welt’
  4. ‘HELLO WORLD’ → ‘HELLO WORLD’

I think the translation should be the same.
Why does the translation work weird?

Is there any way to improve the translation? For example use uncased models.

we’ve added fixes for uppercase, lowercase, and punctuation to libretranslate. but these are fixes in the code, it does not fix the models. models should be trained with more upper and lower case data.
